Paul-Erik Mondron
Since reading Premier de Cordée, Paul-Erik Mondron has never stopped dreaming of summits. At 14, his parents sent him to a mountaineering camp in Switzerland, and he returned every year until he finished school, when he was gifted a 4,000-meter summit ascent for his law degree. In 1994, he and a friend organized an expedition to Antarctica to climb the highest mountain on the southern continent. In 1999, he traveled for a year, climbing summits in New Zealand, Argentina, and Chile. In 2007, he settled in Belgium and founded Nevicata, a publishing house specializing in books on mountains, travel, and biographies, particularly through the famous « L’âme des peoples » collection.
