Juliette Goudot
Born in Paris in 1978, Juliette Goudot is a Brussels-based journalist and film critic. She coordinates the cinema sections of the weekly magazine Moustique and the monthly GAEL. On radio, she created the H.E.R.O.Ï.N.E.S series, a weekly segment for the RTBF program Entrez sans frapper (2016-2019), which analyzed contemporary heroines from a gender studies perspective. Still on La Première, she writes the monthly column En toutes lettres for Pascal Claude’s program Dans quel monde on vit. She authored her first novel (La Traversée de Tanger, published by Aden in 2014), directed a documentary (Un pilote dans l’Histoire Jacques de Saint Phalle au Normandie-Niémen, 52’, 2010), and collaborated on several screenplays (including La Peur by Damien Odoul, Jean Vigo Prize 2015; Les Intranquilles by Joachim Lafosse, Cannes Official Selection 2021) as a consultant. She regularly moderates film debates in Brussels for Bozar or Cinematek as well as at the Namur International Film Festival (FIFF). She is a member and co-administrator of the UPCB (Union of Belgian Cinematographic Press).
