Philippe Reynaert

After studying literature (concluding with a thesis on André Delvaux), Philippe Reynaert taught himself journalism, practicing it with seriousness and pleasure, notably creating and directing the magazine Visions from 1982 to 1988. He began his television career in 1983, taking over the presentation of the Midnight Movie Club on RTBF. His collaboration with Belgian public broadcasting continued for 35 years, with Reynaert even serving on the Board of Directors for 15 years. In the
1990s, while working in advertising, Philippe Reynaert had the opportunity to fully dedicate himself to his passion for cinema, becoming the General Director of Wallimage, Wallonia’s Regional Audiovisual Investment Fund, at the turn of the century. Now retired, he remains highly active in his audiovisual consulting firm Xanadu.
